392033: INCIDENT AFFECTING INTERNET AND PHONE SERVICES   Last updated:(13 Apr 2026 13:02hrs)

We are currently investigating a network incident in the Easton NR9 area that is affecting a small number of phone and broadband services.

Our engineers are actively working to identify and resolve the issue, and we will provide a further update as soon as possible.

Please do not restart or reset your equipment at this time, as this will not help restore service.

Work to restore service was completed at 12:40 on 13/04/2026. Customers should now find services to be working as expected. We will continue to monitor services to ensure they remain stable.

Any issues being experienced after this time should be treated as individual cases and reported in the usual manner.

Our engineer is currently on site investigating and repairing the damaged fibre.

They will continue working to restore service and resolve the ongoing issue.

We will provide a further update as soon as more information on the progress becomes available.
Update (12 Apr 2026 22:00hrs)
The OFNL engineering team has identified and repaired a broken fibre cable that caused a limited number of customer services to go offline. These affected services have now been fully restored.

However, during the repair works, the engineering team identified additional fibre cable damage. As a result, the team will need to re-attend the site tomorrow, Monday 13/04/2026, to continue and complete the necessary repair works.

The OFNL engineering team is now on site and is actively investigating the fibre fault. We will share further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

An OFNL engineering team has been dispatched to site to investigate the fault. Their current estimated time of arrival is 18:00. Further updates will be provided as progress is made.
