seethelight Broadband Speeds

What you can expect with seethelight

seethelight’s broadband is ultrafast, as it runs across a fibre to the home network; otherwise known as ‘full fibre’.

Superfast is typically defined as 30Mbps and above, and ultrafast is 300Mbps and above.

Differences between fibre and copper broadband

Copper Broadband

Broadband is delivered using standard copper lines. The further you live from the telephone exchange, the slower your broadband will be.

Fibre to the cabinet (FTTC)

A mixture of fibre and copper cables. Copper is used from the cabinet so the further you live from the cabinet, the slower your broadband will be.

Fibre to the home (FTTH)

Fibre optic cables run directly into your home, literally at the speed of light! Copper cables are not used at all. seethelight utilises FTTH!

How fast can I download with seethelight, compared to copper or FTTC?
